Sustainability experts from the BÜCHL Group in demand – successful series of workshops on corporate sustainability

As part of the TRANSFORM 10 (Transformation Region 10) project, the subsidiaries of the BÜCHL Group, the Institute for Applied Sustainability in cooperation with ELOGplan, organised a four-part series of workshops on the topic of sustainability in companies on behalf of IFG Ingolstadt.

The workshop series offered practical impulses on topics such as sustainability strategies, energy management and the circular economy in companies. The series was conceptualised and coordinated by Michael Tretter and the INAS Institute. The workshop on the circular economy in February 2025, organised by Dieter Friedrich and Selina Pende from ELOGplan, concluded the series.

The great interest and consistently positive feedback from entrepreneurs from the Ingolstadt region underline the relevance of such formats – and show how important practice-oriented dialogue is for a successful sustainability transformation.

The BÜCHL Group has extensive expertise in the field of corporate sustainability – from A for waste management, K for climate strategy, R for resource management to Z for certification.

With our holistic understanding of ecological, social and economic interrelationships, we support customers in designing sustainable processes and implementing future-proof solutions.

BÜCHL Group joins the Ingolstadt Alliance for Democracy, Diversity and Tolerance

„We say yes to democracy, diversity and tolerance.” With this commitment, the BÜCHL Group is joining the newly founded alliance in Ingolstadt, which is committed to these fundamental values.

Reinhard Büchl was present at the founding event on 22 April and, together with many others, sent out a signal for a diverse and peaceful society.

Reinhard Büchl: “As a company, it is also our responsibility to stand up for democracy, diversity and tolerance. People from over 20 different nations work together successfully in the BÜCHL Group. We have to be able to rely on each other. Where someone comes from, what cultural, linguistic or religious background their colleagues have should not play a role. What counts are the people and how they contribute to our community.”

The commitment of the Ingolstadt alliance met with broad approval: around 180 clubs, organisations, institutions, associations and companies responded to the appeal by Ingolstadt’s Lord Mayor Christian Scharpf and signed the appeal.

Further information on the Ingolstadt Appeal and the Alliance for Democracy, Diversity and Tolerance can be found on the Alliance’s website: ingolstadt.de/buendnis/
